Ric Flair has put himself in some pretty precarious situations in the ring, but the wrestling legend thought he was in danger after he once smoked marijuana.
Flair, who owns a line of marijuana under the boxer’s “Tyson 2.0” brand, said during the ordeal, “I actually thought I had died” — comparing it to the medically-induced coma he was placed in in 2017.
“All of a sudden… it was finally 3 a.m. and I kind of fuzzily sat up and thought, ‘I’m back,’ the 74-year-old wrestler said on Theo Von’s ‘This Past Weekend’ podcast.
“I called someone on the phone and said, ‘Is that really you?’ ‘I got so screwed up.’

The boxer’s Tyson 2.0 marijuana business is said to be “profitable and in a strong position.”
The wrestler said people didn’t respond to him when he spoke to them and recalls telling himself, “I can think.” And I don’t think I could think while I was in the coma. ‘
Flair was placed in a coma after suffering complications from intestinal surgery, including kidney failure.
Speaking to Von, the wrestling legend admitted he went way beyond his usual tolerance when trying to keep up with Iron Mike.
“I’m more of a three-four hit guy,” he said.
“I just said, ‘I’m going to smoke as much as you now, bro.’
The pair have been in business since August 2022 after Flair made his final WWE appearance the previous July.
Tyson 2.0 sells edibles, vapes, and pre-rolls, and according to an interview with New Cannabis Ventures, the company is “profitable and in a strong position.”
