A 15-year-old boy was tragically killed when a tree fell on him during a severe thunderstorm in Anderson, Southern California.
Young soccer player Evan Kinley was about to make his daily visit to his grandparents around 5pm.
In the direction of the garage, according to information from Fox News, a huge tree uprooted by the storm fell on him.
First responders attempted to quickly remove the tree from the young man’s body. Unfortunately, Evan had already died from injuries sustained by the tree.
His football team at TL Hanna School paid tribute to him on social media.

“Every time a student dies, it is very difficult for the school and the family. “We can’t imagine what they’re going through right now,” said Kyle Newton, police communications manager for Anderson District 5.
Evans School said in a statement that it will support students and staff as they come to terms with this tragedy.
