It takes a lot to impress Aaron Rodgers with his career, but young Bryce Young made a very good impression on him.
The New York Jets and Carolina Panthers held a joint practice session Wednesday and the two quarterbacks were able to exchange a few words. It was a good time for the 22-year-old footballer to take some advice from the former Green Bay Packers.

“He told me about his experiences and wished me the best of luck. He asked me how I was doing. […] I really appreciate him taking the time to come and say something to me,” Young told the media at a news conference.
“Aaron Rodgers has been this successful for a long time. Any advice he can give you is valuable,” added the No. 1 pick in the last NFL draft.
In an interview, Rodgers revealed the advice he gave to his counterpart.
“Be kind to yourself. It’s a long journey. You might think that every missed game in training means the end of the world. It is not true. You have to stay confident and enjoy every moment, he explained. He’s got a good head on his shoulders, so it’s going to be fine.
Young, a University of Alabama Crimson Tide product, won the 2021 Heisman Trophy. He will play the first season of his NFL career.
“I really appreciate it. We have the same agent, so I’ve known him for a while. I enjoyed watching it in college. I like the way he acts, the way he moves and the way he throws. Carolina is in good hands ‘ Rodgers said.
The Jets and Panthers will face off in a preseason game at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday.
