Veteran Tomas Tatar is still looking forward to his future and may even hope to find a taker in the National Hockey League in August.
Sportsnet pundit Elliotte Friedman reported on Tuesday that the Pittsburgh Penguins would likely express interest in acquiring the former Montreal Canadiens. General Manager Kyle Dubas has been active since arriving in Pennsylvania and got his hands on defenseman Erik Karlsson on Sunday. If Tatar joins the club his performance is likely to increase as he would have the opportunity to develop further in a group that also includes Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.

The forward recorded 20 goals and 28 assists for 48 points in 82 games for the New Jersey Devils last season. However, like his entire career, he still struggled in the playoffs. He was content with one goal in twelve games. The unrestricted free agent penned a two-year, $9 million deal.
