Get your beach sandals and sunscreen ready, the Cigale festival is back in the enchanting setting of Beauport Bay.
“We haven’t been here for 30 years, it’s only the second year, but the quality of the experience with both feet on the beach, the sunset on the Île d’Orléans, the cool program, the musical discoveries, the ‘The opening times are from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., it’s an offer that didn’t exist,” confirms Quebecor’s sports and entertainment group chief operating officer, Martin Tremblay.
“We feel like the magic is working,” he adds, noting that all tickets for the two days of celebration, Saturday and Sunday, have been sold.
“We’ve been sold out since the end of May, it’s 10,000 people a day. We could have sold a lot more, but we want to protect the quality of the festival-goer experience.”

Fueled by the success of Where Are You Now and Are You With Me, Felix De Laet, aka Lost Frequencies, rose to become one of the world’s most popular electronic artists. The Belgian star, who was in Rimouski last week, will be visiting Quebec for the first time.

The American group has a good following in Quebec City, where they have multiplied their concerts since the song “Renegades” launched their members into stars in 2015. Last year, X Ambassadors packed Parc de la Francophonie at the summer festival, even though he wasn’t the evening’s headliner. Another communion is expected on the beach.

After a first concert that resounded with the shrill screams of his admirers at the 2022 Summer Festival, the beautiful Aussie is back in town with enveloping pop, this time headlining. As a guest of the Star Académie in 2022, the creator of Be Allright is also in the process of forging strong relationships with Quebec residents.

Nine years ago, the hat-wearing English artist released the song “Let It Go” that would become his key to success. Hold Back the River has cemented its place among audiences’ favorite singer-songwriters. In Cigale he will have his first encounter with Quebec.

Cigale’s Quebec delegation is guided by the irresistible grooves of Clay and Friends, proud representatives of Verdun on the local music scene. Dancing on the Bouge Ton Thang with both feet in the sand seems like a difficult proposition that we can refuse.
