At least one person was killed and nine wounded on Thursday after a Russian attack on the southern Ukraine town of Zaporizhia the day before, Ukrainian authorities said.

“A fire broke out in a civilian building after residents hit it with a rocket. “At the moment we mourn the death of a person,” President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Telegram.
He released a video showing a burning car near the Reikartz Hotel in Zaporizhia.
According to the head of the city’s military administration, Anatoly Kourtyev, nine people were also injured in the attack.
According to him, at least four buildings were damaged.
“The city is exposed to Russian bombardments every day,” Mr. Zelenskyy lamented.
On Wednesday, a Russian attack in Zaporijjia, a town just dozens of kilometers from the front lines, had already killed two people and wounded seven.
