The plan came about by accident when management at Grabbers, a rum-soaked waterfront bar where Bethel employees first met with a vacation shiver, reported a burglary to police around July 20.

The two men were released on $20,000 bail last week.
Linsay and Robert Shiver were scheduled to face off in Thomas County Superior Court on July 20, where they filed explosive counterclaims against each other in a hostile custody battle.
While Robert accused his wife of cheating, she countered with allegations of “physical and mental cruelty”.
Shiver claimed their alleged affair took place during a period of separation and was “condoned by the law of the husband,” according to court documents.
Her attorney suspected that Robert acted abusively, writing in a request for a restraining order, “(Lindsay) feels unsafe in the marital home and has put locks on the interior doors of the home for protection.”
“(Robert) abused the woman at home in the presence of the children on numerous occasions, not only physically but also mentally and emotionally.”
A native of Alabama, Shiver graduated from Auburn University, where the two met in 2007 when Robert was captain of the football team.

Lindsay was named Miss Houston County in 2005 and placed second at the National Peanut Festival.
