Kate Ritchie looks cool and casual as the radio star leaves Nova Studios in Pyrmont to give away her car and $5,000 in cash to a “very deserving winner”.
Despite saying goodbye to her beloved Subaru Impreza, Kate Ritchie was in high spirits this morning.
The radio star joined co-hosts Fitzy and Wippa outside Nova studios to tape a competition with their lucky listeners.
The Impress-Her for Kate Ritchie’s Impreza contest invited viewers to play to win their car and a variety of prizes within.
Kate, 44, was cool and casual as she met her fans. She opted for a long black dress and a matching baggy sweater with a wool-lined denim jacket over it.
The former Home and Away star completed her look with navy blue boots, statement earrings and, because she was recording, a microphone and headphones.

The National Treasurer opted for a light foundation, a touch of blush and a touch of nude lipstick to add extra pizzazz to her signature natural beauty.
She wore her brunette locks loose and elegant.
Meanwhile, her co-hosts both wore olive green jackets, with Fitzy sporting a more Henley style and Wippa in a quilted bomber jacket.

Later, Kate, Fitzy and Wippa spoke to the audience before announcing the winner of the competition.
Kate, along with co-hosts Fitzy and Wippa, collected entries from listeners, all leading to the moment winner Brook unlocked the locker to release the keys to the car.
Brook was completely shocked and Kate gave her a hug to congratulate her.
Brook, a very deserving winner, hit the trail with her partner Cody and their two young children from the Sydney suburb of Seven Hills earlier this morning.
Brook had never owned a car or taken a vacation, so the Subaru, the trip to Hamilton Island, and the trunk full of prizes came as a huge surprise.
Kate was delighted with the result, saying: “This car can take the dog to the park, it can take the kids to school and we had a very worthy winner this morning.”
“I wanted it to go to someone who deserved it and Brooke stopped by this morning with her family and I’m so glad,” the Nova radio host continued.
“Not only did she get the car, she and her family are riding on Taylor Swift tickets, $5,000 in cash, free fuel for a year, $500 a month for a year on groceries at Coles and many others home prices.”
