Chris Brown’s urgent health warning after celebrity vet makes shocking discovery: ‘Be careful out there!’

The prominent vet Dr. Chris Brown has issued a dire warning to dog owners.

The 44-year-old shared that he found ticks on his dog Buzzy and urged his fans to check their pets.

‘Be careful out there! I just found two (!) paralytic ticks on Buzzy. So consider this the official warning that tick season is here… early August! And yes, this time it’s personal,” he wrote in a caption alongside a photo with his dog.

“So Buzzy’s fine.” Luckily the ticks were dead because he focuses on prevention. But here’s everything you need to know about the parasite that really sucks ALL ways.

“Why does tick season start so early?” While we associate ticks with summer, it’s not uncommon for ticks to start in August. But it’s that early. “The combination of warmer winter weather and some rain is the signal ticks have been waiting for,” he said.

‘SO WHAT CAN YOU DO? “If you live in an area where there is a risk of tick paralysis (on the east coast of Australia) then start tick prevention now,” continued Chris.

“Also, you should continue to check for ticks with your fingers using the “finger tickle” motion. They could be anywhere, but 80% of ticks in the area come from the front legs forward. Buzzy’s two ticks were on his neck.

“WHAT ARE YOU FEELING? You will feel like a small lump of skin. But unlike a lump, they have legs. In good light you can see that they are gray and attached to the mouth. Stay safe. The tick season now runs until February/March.

Chris has signed a two-year deal with Seven worth more than $1 million a year.

“I’m really excited about the opportunity to bring my wildlife to life in an original, adventurous and breathtaking way,” Brown said in a statement to Chron Australia.

“I can’t wait for the wildlife of the world and the search for Australia’s best dream home to end up in our living rooms in 2024.”

Both Dream Home and the untitled animal adventure series will go into production next year.

Chris’ appearance on Seven is something of a homecoming.
