A little over a month after its discovery, the one-of-a-kind and rarest of all Magic: The Gathering “One Ring” playing card was purchased by rapper Post Malone.

In a video posted to TikTok, Malone and the previously unnamed owner of the card, now identified as Brook Trafton, are seen excitedly examining the card and saying, “Yes, I’ll take it.”

Then Mr. Trafton is seen tearfully hugging Malone. He is happy about the sale and also stretches his arms in the air.
Mr. Trafton wanted to sell his card directly to another Magic player and collector, the community Malone is a part of.

“When I found The One Ring, the first thing that came to mind was Post Malone,” Mr. Trafton commented on the passage.
“I’ve been playing MTG since I was a kid and of course it would be great to keep this card. But for someone like me, being able to sell it is life changing. I was really hoping it would go to someone who could make it

“I would appreciate it as much as I do,” he said.
In addition to the money, the lucky seller also had the opportunity to meet Post Malone.
“It’s my dream come true. Meeting Post Malone and asking him to buy me the One Ring card is a fairy tale moment. Things like that don’t happen to people like me, I guess it’s magic. “I am eternally grateful to you,” he finally gushed.

The One Ring map is part of The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth.
Although there are other copies of the One Ring in the game, the publisher Wizards of the Coast has also created a unique, serialized copy, covered in gold foil and inscribed with the original inscription of Sauron’s speech in Elvish script to reflect the unique nature of the ring in Tolkien’s universe.

The card has been authenticated by the rating company PSA, which has given it a Mint 9 rating.
