Tammin Sursok breaks down in tears as she and husband Sean McEwen welcome a new family member on her 40th birthday
Tammin Sursok shared a video of her breaking down in tears after her husband Sean McEwan gave her a very special present for her 40th birthday.
The former Home and Away star, who is vacationing in Bali with his family, shared the big news on Instagram on Saturday.
“My husband just gave me my birthday present,” she told the camera, wiping away tears in the happy moment.
“This is it,” she added, before sharing a photo of an adorable white pup with a pink bow around her neck.
“After we lost our puppy, Pinky is waiting for us,” she wrote.
It comes after Tammin revealed why she was worried about turning 40.
Speaking to Stellar magazine in July, the Pretty Little Liars star said she’s not nervous about getting older, but terrified of “what that means.”

“I think the fear of turning 40 is just that I don’t want to work less.” I remember the birth of my first child and they said I wasn’t a genius anymore – I was 29 years old.
Tammin has been open about her past body image struggles, admitting that as a young girl she “wanted to be wanted and desired” and struggled with an eating disorder.
The actress posted a series of heartbreaking stories to her Instagram in honor of International Women’s Day, reflecting on the devastating effects of objectification by men.

The first story she told was about a little boy she had a crush on who told her at the age of 15 that she needed to lose weight.
She revealed that she was “paralyzed with fear and lust” when he approached her and said, “My heart stopped.” I’d dreamed of this moment coming for years.’
But her dream fell through when the boy brutally told her, “You have to go to Jenny Craig.” [weight loss program].’
Tammin lives in Nashville with husband Sean McEwen and their two daughters, nine-year-old Phoenix and four-year-old Lennon.
