Emmerdale fans have voiced their fears for Lydia Dingle’s future after she reconnected with her former lover Craig Reed.
Viewers have seen Lydia reveal to Craig that she became pregnant at the age of 15 while living in a children’s home as a teenager, but sadly the child was stillborn.
Using her birth name Jenny, Lydia told Craig that he was the baby’s father and buried the child in the woods.
In the upcoming episodes, Lydia’s husband Sam will feel increasingly marginalized by her friendship with Craig and his arrival has already caused concern among fans.
Some have theorized that Craig may start stalking Lydia over their history, with one claiming he’s already “obsessed” with her.

Samson is in awe of Craig’s car as he drives Lydia home. Samson questions Lydia about Craig and is overwhelmed by Craig’s wealth while Sam is a little intimidated.
Impressed to learn that Craig’s company has developed one of his favorite mobile games, Samson asks Lydia to give him some work experience.
At the company offices, Lydia asks Craig about Samson’s work experience. He becomes awkward and leaves. Careful not to overpromise or underdeliver, Craig later returns and confirms Samson’s work experience.
Samson is delighted while Sam feels insignificant. Soon after, Lydia introduces Craig to the reverent Samson.
Craig has made himself comfortable as he and Samson set about fixing the gutter that Sam couldn’t finish. When Sam leaves, he feels pushed aside by Craig.
