Quebec’s Leylah Annie Fernandez made short work of Czech Linda Noskova in the first round of the Cleveland tennis tournament on Sunday.

The holder of the 72nd place in the world won in straight sets 6-0 and 6-2 against the 50th player in the world. The fight only lasted 65 minutes.

Fernandez hit 60% of his first serve attempts and won 76% of the rallies played in that situation. She also saved the three break points offered by her rival. The Montreal native got five breaks.
