Monday evenings can be seen on La 1 to entertain the Summer Grand Prix. Moviegoers have a double date with Trails of Glory, Stanley Kubrick’s anti-war masterpiece, and Fame, Alan Parker’s popular musical. Cuatro dedicates the evening to the broadcast of three parts of the series 9-1-1 and to conclude, La 2 broadcasts a tribute concert to Nino Bravo in symphonic format with the orchestra and choir of TVE and the voice of Serafín Zubiri.

Alan Parker has proven to be a tricky and tricky filmmaker too many times. One of the common criticisms of Kubrick is that he is a writer obsessed with images and not with his characters: Kubrick as a cold and intellectual director. Still, he created films as emotionally charged and psychologically profound as A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, and Eyes Wide Shut. Also virulent anti-militarist slogans such as senderos de gloria, the portrait of the horror and injustice of war, the portrayal of hideous and sadistic characters given to ambition. Kubrick whips out his camera to delve frantically into human villainy in a torn tale set in World War I but could live in any other war scenario.
First semi-final of the “Summer Grand Prix”

Homage to Nino Bravo with a symphony concert

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Nino Bravo and La 2 pays another tribute to the Valencian artist by broadcasting Nino Bravo’s symphonic concert, recorded last June by the RTVE Symphony Orchestra and Choir together with Serafín Zubiri. A show that showcases the great themes that made Nino Bravo a legend, performed for the first time in a symphonic version. There will be no shortage of iconic songs like “Libre”, “A kiss and a flower”, “America, America”, “That will be my house” and “Noelia”.
Triple part of the series “9-1-1”

Los Angeles Emergency Responders face new adventures in the 9-1-1 series. In tonight’s triple episode, several members of the ER arrive at a home where the owner claims her roommate is a ghost. In another case, they have to intervene in a hospital where there was an explosion. You will also deal with the explosion of an abandoned oil well that created a huge sinkhole in downtown Los Angeles.
