Selma Blair was pictured walking her service dog, Scout, in New York’s SoHo on Saturday morning.

The 51-year-old artist appeared to be making the most of her weekend as she relaxedly strolled the city’s busy streets.

The actress, who recently penned an emotional letter to her younger self, also crouched down and kissed her dog affectionately while pausing for a moment.

Blair wore an almost all-white outfit that included a tank top, which she wore under a button-down shirt when stepping out.

The Hellboy actress also wore slightly roomy and cropped pants and matching sneakers.

The author added some color to her look with a striped scarf and complemented it with aviator-style sunglasses.

Her platinum blonde hair went well with the light tones of her daytime attire.

Blair included two photos of Scout in a photoset shared to her Instagram account on Saturday.

In one of the shots, the performer’s dog could be seen relaxing at home, and the actress also snapped a photo that showed him panting on the floor.

The Cruel Intentions actress welcomed Scout into her family back in 2019 after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis the year before.

The actress’ service dog has since been featured in numerous photos shared on her Instagram account.

Blair opened up about Scout in an interview with People, in which she expressed that she brought him into her life to give herself more stability while also helping to manage her health condition.

“I’m a single mom and I’m alone with my kid a lot, and I wanted legitimate support,” she said.

The naturally blonde actress then opened up about how Scout was trained to provide her physical assistance.

“He’s with me all the time.” When I fall into a big trap [muscle] If you experience cramps or have trouble moving and need to recalibrate, he can get between my legs, help me stand up and balance me. “It gave me a lot of independence,” she said.

Blair also explained that her son Arthur, 13, quickly became fond of his mother’s service dog.

“My son, when he goes to his dad, he loves knowing that Scout is by my side,” she said.
