It comes after Emily admitted she struggles with being single and even cries herself to sleep during periods of loneliness.
The actress and comedian has embarked on a string of romances since she became famous on ‘The Inbetweeners,’ but hasn’t been able to find lasting love with any of her former boyfriends.
Her last relationship with former Big Brother contestant Liam McGough ended in 2022 and Emily admitted that one of her biggest problems when meeting a new man is a lack of self-esteem.
On her Soaking Up Life With… podcast, she said, “People think I’m flying the flag for all single ladies, but I’m not afraid to admit that most of the time, being alone is actually miserable.” It’s pretty hard.
“There are times when I go out and feel alone and independent, confident and sexy.”
“But there are times when I cry myself to sleep because it’s lonely and awful, and I think that’s okay.”
Emily has previously dated comedian Seann Walsh and model Jude Taylor and was reportedly the subject of romance with Manchester City and English footballer Jack Grealish.
In her constant search for love, she has also turned to celebrity dating app Raya – all to no avail.

Still close: Her last relationship, with former Big Brother contestant Liam McGough, ended in 2022
“What I’m doing wrong in life is that I’m known for being confident, sexy and all those things, and that’s all great,” she said. And the second I’m in love, I’m absolutely pathetic.
“I go from confidence to ‘have it all,’ and that’s not because of them, it’s because of me.” That’s a lack of self-care and self-love. “I have mountains and buckets of confidence but no self-esteem.”
Emily recently sparked rumors that she is back with ex-boyfriend Liam McGough after helping him celebrate his 38th birthday in July.
The couple spent the evening at a house party in London, with Emily looking glamorous in a sexy black ensemble while Liam, who is now an arborist, took to the deck.
They posed together for a group photo, which Liam posted to Instagram the next day.
He captioned the photo, “To everyone who came, thank you for a great birthday and lovely gifts.” Now please don’t speak to me for a week. “My social battery is at 3%.”

Emily previously spoke to comedian Ellie Taylor about her love life while hosting her podcast.
She said, “I’ve been dating men in my 20s and that’s not getting me anywhere.”
Ellie said her husband was “significant” in supporting her throughout her career, as Emily chimed in, “Oh that’s nice, does he have friends?”
She then admitted that she might need a little change in dating, admitting that “dating younger people doesn’t do me any good.”
Ellie then advised the Inbetweener star on getting older, “you should go for a nice 40-year-old.”
The couple also discussed the influence men have on their lives, as Ellie admitted she chose her career largely based on a man.
“The guy I was dating at the time was older than me.” [and] had a fancy job… he’s a journalist – an international correspondent. And he [said] “It’s really cool that you’re doing stand-up. You should do that again.” And I was like, okay, a successful man.
“Basically, I chose my profession to show off to a man — and that’s the lesson I’m going to teach my daughter,” she joked.
Emily admitted she too has changed her life to please men: “I changed my WhatsApp picture for a man, I changed my Instagram bio for a man, I changed certain parts.” [of my career]also with the comedy thing.
“I used to think that doing these pin-up boy magazines was very nice and good, but I think it’s pretty sexy to be funny as well.”
