FIRST LOOK: Coleen Rooney looks serious as she appears in court in new snaps for her full-length Disney+ documentary, The Real Wagatha Story

Disney+ has gotten its first look at Coleen Rooney in their highly anticipated reveal documentary following her Supreme Court victory.

WAG, 37, has been awarded £3million in her defamation trial against Rebekah Vardy and she will tell her side of the story of the trial in the upcoming Disney+ documentary.

Ahead of the release, the date of which has not yet been confirmed, Disney+ has released a series of first images showing Coleen arriving at a courthouse.

In the snaps, Wayne Rooney’s wife cut an elegant figure in a black suit consisting of tailored trousers, a fitted top and a blazer with padded shoulders.

She appeared serious when she arrived in the courtroom and sat in the dock with her legal pad in front of her, which appeared to be a replica of the case.

The full-length documentary, titled Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story, will reveal how Coleen orchestrated an elaborate undercover operation to find out who was leaking stories about her to The Sun.

The three-part series, slated for release this fall, follows Coleen’s journey into becoming an online detective prior to her famous post, which read, “It’s…Rebekah Vardy’s Account.”

It will accompany Coleen throughout the Supreme Court trial until the judge ruled in Coleen’s favour, declaring that her contribution was “essentially true.”

According to Disney+, the documentary will not only cover the high-profile case itself, but also shed light on Coleen’s life in the spotlight over the past 20 years.

The series was directed and produced by Lucy Bowden and produced by Dorothy Street Pictures and Lorton Entertainment.

The documentary could have seen the two WAGs back in court after Disney+ failed to use the iconic phrase “Wagatha Christie” in the title.

While Coleen was the one nicknamed by the public after her detective work, it was Rebekah who trademarked the phrase earlier this year.

However, Disney got around the problem by titling the docuseries Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story.

In her famous tweet in October 2019, Coleen revealed that she had now limited the number of people who could see her stories to just one account to find out who was revealing her posts.

She was nicknamed “Wagatha Christie” because her post “It’s… Rebekah Vardy’s Account” went viral and Rebekah, who was pregnant with her fifth child at the time, had to return from a holiday in Dubai.

Rebekah denied responsibility for the leaks and sued Coleen for defamation, with the case eventually going to court in May last year.

However, she lost her claim when the judge ruled in July that Coleen’s post was “substantially true.”

Judge Steyn said it was “probable” that her then-agent, Caroline Watt, took “the direct action” to pass information to The Sun newspaper.

Alongside the forthcoming documentary, the trial has been adapted into a stage show entitled Vardy vs. Rooney: The Wagatha-Christie Trial and a two-part Channel 4 drama.

Coleen finally broke her silence on the court case earlier this month in a bombastic Vogue interview, in which she branded her nemesis “weird.”

After a dignified silence, Coleen opened up about how her WAG colleague Rebekah’s “nasty” texts read in court made her sick.

She recounted how she came up with the plan to thwart the person who leaked stories by posting false stories on her personal account and making them visible only to Rebekah’s account, but not telling a soul what she was up to, not even a lawyer .

Coleen told Vogue, “I feel like a lot of people still don’t understand what happened, from beginning to end.” But what I said in that post, I still stand by today.”

WAG announced that their plan to publicly share the leaker on Instagram in October 2019 was entirely their own.

She said, ‘That night I started thinking about what I was going to do.’ I just wanted these stories to stop.’

Coleen said she didn’t tell anyone what she was up to, and she didn’t show her post to Wayne, her mother, nor, despite many suspicions, to a lawyer.

Feeling empowered and relieved that she had kept her plans to go public secret, she said, “If I want to do sunnin – and I know I will be prevented from doing sunnin – then I just do it additional. I didn’t want anyone telling me not to do it.’

Coleen admitted she was scared when Rebekah said she would consult lawyers.

Open: Coleen finally broke her silence on the court case in a bombastic Vogue interview earlier this month, in which she branded her nemesis “weird”.

She had not pre-legalized her testimony and had assumed it was permissible to pass on what had happened to her.

Coleen was both concerned and angry at being “dragged in court,” saying, “It was hard for me not to let it show.”

“It was so weird that first day actually sitting on a bench together. It was so difficult in that courtroom… especially watching her on the stand. It was pretty painful. I felt uncomfortable.

“Obviously she went through that. “I thought, ‘Why did you put yourself in this position?’ It wasn’t pretty to look at. To this day she can’t understand why Vardy brought her to court. She’s ‘strange’.”

After Coleen’s sensational interview, Rebekah reignited the WAG war by berating her rival Coleen for being “boring” and “public addicted.”

WAG, 41, shared a stunning bikini snap on Instagram and made several jabs at Coleen, 37, in the comments section.

Rebekah didn’t shy away from slamming Coleen for her Vogue interview as she described her comments as “boring”.

Her angry words came in response to a fan commenting, alluding to Coleen’s interview, “I think Vogue magazine is a superstar at all.”

Rebekah then replied, “Boring huh,” and the fan added, “Distressed.”

Jamie Vardy’s wife then continued to rage as she attacked Coleen, saying, “Don’t advertise me I’m private but please advertise me.”

Doubling up her words, she continued, “I don’t see why you keep wanting to bring it up.” It’s boring now! The public doesn’t care and neither do I. She won, this is the end! Be happy, keep going… because I know I have x’

Another fan slammed Rebekah when he said: “You dragged her through court to hang yourself so she honestly has the right to say her side. ‘You made the mistakes here, not her!’

Which prompted her to protest her innocence when she replied, “What a year later!” Give me a break! And yes, I did, because I’m not doing anything wrong! And I’ll take that to my grave! If I did, believe me, I would have waved my middle finger and said, “Yes and what!”

Arguing: She also got into a tense exchange with an Instagram user when she maintained her innocence in a series of comments about being the “bad guy”.

The Instagram user responded, “You were found guilty by the top suits though and can’t really preach innocence now can you?” I know you’d rather it be over, but she still has that Right to tell her side and her experience of this ordeal and people want to listen.’

But Rebekah continued, “I’ve preached innocence from day one and that’s not going to change!” And are you telling me that they’re not doing anything wrong… because I have a very long list that they screwed up! But it doesn’t fit the narrative! It’s okay, I think it’s cool to be the bad guy! Maybe I’ll just start living up to that now.”

She also hinted at the drama in her caption, writing, “Relax.” [peace out emoji].’

Rebekah lost her defamation case against Coleen in July 2022 and was ordered to pay up to £1.5million for Coleen’s legal fees after losing the case, but continues to insist she is not to blame.
