Astros star Justin Verlander didn’t hold back Tuesday night as he attacked Boston Red Sox head coach Alex Cora.

During Houston’s 7-3 win over the Red Sox, Verlander was overheard telling the Red Sox captain to fuck off as he took the field.

The Astros pitcher had problems with his PitchCom device and stopped play when a new device was brought onto the field.

Verlander’s troubles caused what appeared to be an argument over a pitch clock violation, and he could be seen speaking to a referee while an Astros teammate first brought him a new PitchCom that had to be changed again, since it was in Spanish.

Cora, visibly upset by the delay, came out of the dugout and pleaded for an automatic ball.

“You shook it off five times,” Cora was heard saying as he walked out, seemingly implying there was no real problem with the device.

And Verlander didn’t take the Boston coach’s interruption too kindly, saying, ‘I didn’t shake that while hitting.’ Fuck off, Alex.’

The evening didn’t get much better for Cora as both he and right fielder Alex Verdugo were sent off for arguments over balls and shots as the Red Sox lost their second straight game in Houston.

Verdugo was ejected in the upper part of the fourth by Plate umpire Pat Hoberg, who also threw Cora after the manager objected to the four-ball bid to Alex Bregman late in the seventh.

It was the second throw in three games for Cora, who stood on the plate and kicked the ground before yelling in Hoberg’s face after he was thrown.

Meanwhile, Verlander (9-6) allowed five hits and hit a season-high nine in his fourth start since returning to the Astros in a trade with the Mets.
