Boxer Mary Spencer will have another reason to look forward to her rematch with Belgium’s Femke Hermans, as in addition to the IBF super welterweight belt, the IBO belt will also be on the table in the fight scheduled for October 11 at the Casino de Montreal .
The Canadian will be looking to redeem her loss with a unanimous decision that saw her lose her IBO crown on December 16 in Shawinigan. Against Hermans (16-4-0, 7 KOs), who will defend her title for the third time, she will appear in the arena with a knife between her teeth.

“I’m very excited […] That the IBO made it possible to put the world title back on the line. Knowing that the title that slipped through my fingers in December at my first World Championship is accessible again motivates me even more and makes me even more determined to strive for victory,” said Spencer (7-1-0, 5 KOs) in a press release from his promoter, Eye of the Tiger Management.
During the gala, viewers can also watch Erik Bazinyan, Wilkens Mathieu and Leïla Beaudoin at work, among others.
