From returning to a veteran’s sense of humor after several years of absence, to discovering humorous talent that has been hidden from our eyes, here are four highlights from the 24th edition of ComediHa! Fest Quebec.
Michel Charette toasted, Vincent-Guillaume Otis celebrated
The great, well-cooked comedyHa! by Michel Charette was successful for more than one reason. First, Phil Roy and his sense of self-deprecation couldn’t be better suited to host this evening. Then the big jokes were there, but balanced and always tasteful. However, the icing on the cake was undoubtedly Vincent-Guillaume Otis. The Bobine actor surprised everyone with his dexterity and ease with which he staged quality gags, even though it was his first experience.

Humble but effective return from Marc Dupré
For his return to the world of humor, Marc Dupré was undeterred by strong jokes. The gala he hosted had its highlights, however, with hilarious interludes from Laurent Paquin and Yannick de Martino, and impressive impersonations from Véronique Claveau.
A sequence to watch
The new guardian of the world of humor stood out throughout these 15 days of performances. This successor includes Christophe Dupéré. The one who took part in his first gala ComediHa! attended, hosted by Michel Courtemanche, also heated up the audience as he waited for the Boys to play on the La Poche Bleue podcast, whether he was standing in front of a packed Grand Théâtre or in front of a handful of spectators Dupéré appropriates his audience as he sees fit.
La Poche Bleue welcomes Les Boys
The special La Poche Bleue podcast celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Les Boys franchise was a precious moment from CodiHa! 2023. The discussions between the two hosts, Guillaume Latendresse and Maxim Lapierre, and the architects of the mythical ice hockey team, such as Paul Houde and Richard Goudreau, were as funny as they were interesting, both when it came to ice hockey and the subject of cinema.
