Paraguay’s ‘Joya’ suffered a knee injury two weeks before the game against Peru and is concerned

“Julio Enciso suffered trauma to his left knee during a training session at his club. He is being supported and examined by the Brighton medical team and studies will be carried out in the coming days,” the Albirroja medical department said, according to the ABC Color portal.

“We are still waiting to know these results along with the official report on the injury, the treatment and the expected rehabilitation time,” the statement read about the 19-year-old footballer.

Enciso, who has played in the First Division of England since the 2022/23 season, is one of the main figures at his club. In the last game, he provided two assists in a 4-1 win over Wolves. According to the Transfermarkt portal, his passport is currently valued at 22 million euros.
