Montrealers who dream of seeing him on stage can breathe a sigh of relief. Singer Rod Stewart has announced he has regained his voice in time for his show, scheduled for Wednesday at the Canadian Tire Center in Ottawa and Thursday at the Bell Center in Montreal.
“I’ve regained my health,” he said in a video on his official X/Twitter platform account.
In particular, Sir Rod Stewart took the opportunity in his message to apologize to his loyal fans in Saskatoon for having to cancel his scheduled show for last Saturday night due to problems with his vocal cords.
My dear friends in Saskatoon, I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there the other night. Hopefully I can come back another day.
I am healthy now and moving on to Ottawa, thank you @cheap trick for carrying the show ❤️ pic.twitter.com/mOjWNeFKxa

“My dear friends from Saskatoon, I’m terribly sorry I didn’t show up for you the other night,” he explained in the video.
The 78-year-old rocker explained that he was warming up before his performance at the SaskTel Center when his voice went completely silent. “It happens sometimes. “It’s like a cramp, my doctor explained to me,” he said.
Disappointed, his admirers learned only after the performance of the group Cheap Trick presented in the first part that Rod Stewart could not perform due to his injured vocal cords. Some of them expressed their displeasure on social networks, lamenting that the singer did not appear on stage to apologize.
Instead, the singer preferred to apologize on his social networks and promised them that he would “come back and visit them one day”.
