The 2023 Academy Of Country Music Honors will be held on Wednesday, August 23 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.
Tim McGraw and his wife Faith Hill are among the country music stars attending the annual event, also known as the ACM Awards, which eventually airs on Fox in September.
Among the evening’s honorees was 56-year-old McGraw, who received the ACM Icon Award.
Over the course of his music career, the Louisiana native had ten of his 16 studio albums reach number one on the Top Country Albums chart, beginning with his breakthrough sophomore release Not a Moment Too Soon (1994).
Overall, McGraw’s albums have spawned 65 singles, 25 of which have reached number one on the Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay charts.

Ahead of the ceremony, the longtime couple, who will celebrate their 27th marriage anniversary in October, struck a series of poses for the admiring cameras that were lined up along the red carpet.
The Just to See You Smile star showed off his slim and toned physique in a white suit, which he wore with a black shirt with white polka dots.
The always stylish musician and actor also wears a black scarf with bolo, black cowboy hat and matching leather boots.
While McGraw struck a few solo poses, he mostly took the spotlight by having his wife by his side on the red carpet.
Hill, 55, showed off her amazing figure and fashion sense in a chic black mini dress that accentuated her curves, paired with matching knee-high leather boots.
For an added touch of sexiness, she also wore black fishnet stockings and bold red lipstick.
To complete her overall look, the five-time Grammy winner tied her long dark locks into a tight ponytail with a center parting.
The Mississippi native is considered one of the most successful country artists of all time, having sold nearly 50 million albums worldwide.

The couple actually decided to make the ACM Honors a family affair by having two of their three daughters by their side on the red carpet.
Perfectly matching her dad, Audrey McGraw, 21, stood alongside the family patriarch in a white floor-length gown. Her dark tresses flowed long and straight to the waist with a center parting.
Sister Maggie McGraw, 25, wore black to her mother and stood next to the McGraws’ matriarch in her plunging floor-length dress and blonde locks styled in a shoulder-length bob.

The 2023 ACM Honors, scheduled to air Wednesday (Aug. 23) at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium, has added additional artists and presenters to its programming.
Nelly, who collaborated with Tim McGraw on 2004’s cross-genre hit “Over and Over,” will perform. McGraw is expected to receive the ACM Icon Award. “Over and Over” peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The lineup also includes Randy Travis, actor/singer Dennis Quaid, Big Kenny, Priscilla Block, Lee Brice, Billy Ray Cyrus + Firerose with Travis Denning, Sara Evans, Marty Stuart, Storme Warren, Hailey Whitters and Brett Young.
Four-time ACM Award winner Carly Pearce will host the ceremony for the third time. Pearce will also appear on the show, which airs for the second time on FOX on Monday, September 18, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET/PT.
The final casting of cast members for the FOX broadcast will be announced in the coming weeks. That usually means producers plan on recording more than they can use in a two-hour program, giving them the choice to edit the final program.
Dubbed “The Country Music Industry’s Favorite Night” by ACM, the event will honor several special honorees, including ACM Triple Crown Award winner Chris Stapleton. The latter award goes to artists who have won an ACM New Artist Award; an ACM award for Best Man, Woman, Group or Duo; and an ACM award for Entertainer of the Year. Stapleton is the ninth artist to receive the award. At the May 11 show, he was named Best New Male Vocalist in 2015, Best Male Vocalist for the first time in 2017, and Entertainer of the Year.
Two of the awards are posthumous. Charlie Daniels, who is expected to receive the ACM Spirit Award, and KT Oslin, who is expected to receive the ACM Poet’s Award, both passed away in 2020.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with FOX for its second year in bringing one of our industry’s most beloved nights of emotional tributes and unforgettable performances to primetime television,” Academy of Country Music CEO Damon Whiteside said in a previous statement.
The 16th Annual ACM Honors is produced for television by ACM Productions LLC. Damon Whiteside is executive producer for the Academy of Country Music and Martin Fischer is executive producer for Opry Entertainment. Edie Lynn Hoback is a producer.
