Lala Kent opened up to fans about her life as a single mom by sharing some of her two-year-old daughter Ocean’s recent milestones and moments.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the 32-year-old “Vanderpump Rules” star shared footage of his everyday life – including teaching Ocean how to swim, building sand castles on the beach and giving the toddler a manicure at home.
Ocean ruins the swimming game and I gave her her first manicure. “She went for blue nails,” wrote the proud mom.
Lala shares her baby girl with ex-fiancé Randall Emmett, 52, who she split from in 2021 amid cheating allegations.
In Wednesday’s post, Lala also revealed that her baby girl “loves” hip-hop group Nappy Roots by sharing a video of The Ocean grooving to their music.

Next, she shared a photo of herself and Ocean on the beach with the Give Them Lala writer, who wore a bandeau top and jeans, and her toddler in a red and white hibiscus print outfit.
In the next video clip, Lala patiently tries to explain to her daughter that although her name is Lala, she is also “mom”.
Ocean says, “You’re Lala and Mama” while eating a piece of fruit, adding, “It’s so funny.”
The next image is an adorable photo of Ocean in a pink onesie, sitting on the floor in front of a row of colorful building blocks.
The podcast host also shared a photo of herself cuddling with her daughter. They are both wearing tank tops and the little girl’s nose is pulled up adorable.
The last video in the post shows Lala swimming in the sea in the pool of her apartment complex.
The video begins with the toddler swimming to the edge of the pool a short distance from his mother.
Ocean walked around the pool lounger and stood on the edge of the pool. Her mother encouraged her to jump in and swim to her.
She looked cute as she gestured for her mother to come closer to make her feel safer.
Once Lala was within an acceptable distance, Ocean jumped in and swam the short distance alone.
The last photo in the post shows the cute little girl in leopard print pajamas. She is smiling while showing off her blue manicure.
According to her mother, who was spotted teaching her in the pool, Ocean is “destroying the swimming game.”

Earlier in the day, Lala posted the latest episode of her podcast and shared her thoughts on Bethenny Frankel’s controversial interview with VPR’s Raquel Leviss.
She first described Leviss’ decision to leave the show after her affair with Tom Sandoval as a “travesty” and accused Frankel of manipulating and “exploiting” the star.
She said, “It’s a travesty that she didn’t come back in the end.” She should have come back. I think she would have been very surprised. And instead she went and did this [podcast with Bethenny] and she was manipulated again.
“There were things she said at the time that didn’t fit the perspective. “It was a blatant lie and I can’t imagine you believe what you say.”
She slammed Leviss’ claim that she was called “reality TV ratings gold” by Katie Maloney and Kristina Kelly, saying: “That never happened.” Raquel left that night after saying: “Well, that you have no husband”, in her bedroom.
“She went to sleep and the next morning when she came into our room and was embarrassed, that’s the first time we saw her.” No, we came into her room and told her she was the gold medal in reality TV ratings. That never happened and that’s not a prospect. That’s fact. Nobody told you that.
Speaking of the controversial podcast, she said, “I’ve seen all along that there will be moments where our voice is all we have.” We’ve all had an opportunity to leverage a platform — be it our own or theirs another – to share our take on a story.
“Raquel is absolutely right and I’m glad she finally got a huge platform to tell her story.” I only saw clips and from that I concluded that Bethenny had once again completely exploited this girl.’
She slammed Leviss for sleeping with Sandoval behind Ariana Madix, saying, “I don’t think reality TV is for everyone.” It’s a very intense environment. If you’re not that strong mentally, it can break you. It definitely can.
“Well to say that Raquel was a victim of something I don’t know. What I do know is that you’ve decided to sleep with your best friend’s 10-year-old partner.
“You didn’t have to do that.” Nobody forced you to do it and nobody asked you to do it. “It felt like Bethenny was really trying to push her in a certain direction.”
