Connor Bedard polishes his guns

As time goes on, young Connor Bedard is loosening up and that bodes well for the Chicago Blackhawks, who are already rubbing their hands at their new player’s quick success.

The No. 1 pick in the National Hockey League’s recent draft is drawing a lot of attention from reporters and the rest of the Bettman community. However, there are also fans who can’t wait to see it in action. Despite the looks directed at him, he doesn’t seem overwhelmed by the pressure. The main goal is to conquer your place in the formation.

“I’m focused on hockey and trying to get better with the goal of winning games, but the most interesting part is the fan base. I look forward to all that support and what we’ve been through this year. Hopefully I’ll play. That would be great,” he said on the Hawks official website.

He reminded that there was no point in getting distracted. With rookie camp and parent team camp drawing ever closer, it’s vital for Bedard to stay the course in his preparation.

“I focus on what I can control and what is important in my life. “Right now it’s about mastering everything I can and figuring out what’s my priority,” he said.

At 18, for all his gifted talent, whoever made the Regina Pats rain and shine in the Western Junior League will have a lot to learn. Speaking of which, head coach Luke Richardson wants to make a lasting contribution to helping the striker deal with future challenges. To achieve this, it shouldn’t hurt to go up against veterans in camp.

“I think it’s going to force him to do even better,” predicted the former Montreal Canadiens assistant coach. So I’m not worried about what he needs to overcome, but adjustments will certainly need to be made.
