Former President Donald Trump replaced his chief attorney ahead of his surrender Thursday night, sources told CNN.
Drew Findling, the attorney who has previously led Trump’s defense in Georgia, will be replaced by Steven Sadow, an Atlanta-based attorney described as a “commercial defender.”

A Trump source said the ex-president didn’t decide to replace him because of Findling’s skills.
“I have been assigned to represent President Trump in the Fulton County, Georgia case. The President should never have been impeached. He is innocent of all charges against him,” Sadow said in a statement. “We look forward to the case being dismissed or, if necessary, an impartial and open-minded jury finding the President not guilty.”
