Dua Lipa defends visiting a strip club with Lizzo after the singer’s backup dancers made THESE sex club harassment claims – wowed as a leggy pop star in a bodysuit for Vogue France

Dua Lipa has defended visiting a strip club with Lizzo after the flute-playing singer’s dancers made THESE claims about what happened at an Amsterdam sex club.

Dua, 28, appears on the cover of the latest Vogue magazine, where she lightens her brows before slipping into a chic bodysuit, and says modern women are constantly “being ashamed of everything and everyone”.

The hitmaker enjoyed a star-studded night out with Lizzo at a strip club after the 2020 Grammys, and has spoken openly about the backlash she received after she was accused of supporting the exploitation of women.

She told the publication, “Of course I’m against any kind of exploitation.” But I also see this endless criticism of women’s choices. It’s like navigating a minefield right from the start.

“We are ashamed of everything and everyone. Does anyone think of people’s own experiences before attacking them? So it’s really important to me to respect women’s choices, whatever they are.”

Lizzo plans to sue three of her former backing dancers who are currently suing her over allegations of sexual harassment.

Crystal Williams, 24, Noelle Rodriguez, 25, and Arianna Davis, 26, have accused the 35-year-old Grammy winner of sexual and racial harassment and creating a hostile work environment before touring Europe in February and March.

Lizzo has vehemently denied the allegations made against her in the lawsuit. The lawsuit alleges she pressured staff into touching naked performers at a club in Amsterdam, including for weight shaming.

New photos have emerged from of the trio happily posing backstage with topless performers at the Crazy Horse cabaret in Paris on March 5, 2023 – weeks after they claimed Lizzo pushed them to do so in February , eating bananas and grabbing dildos from performers’ vaginas on a night out in Amsterdam’s notorious red-light district.

Lizzo’s lawyer, Marty Singer, told that the plaintiffs were “frolicking behind the scenes” and “merrily partying” despite allegations in their lawsuit that they were forced to act against their will.

As for the #MeToo movement, Dua still seems to think women still have a long way to go, and in some ways it hasn’t impacted women’s daily lives.

She admitted, “#MeToo or not, it’s still scary being a woman and walking down an empty street alone on your way home at night.”

“I have so many memories of times when you’d be holding your keys, grabbing your bag, or pretending to make a phone call… I don’t know if that’s ever going to change.”

Before her big success, Dua started modeling at the age of 16 while working in restaurants and nightclubs.

The star opened up about how she feels it’s undoubtedly harder being a teenager today because “social media is obsessed with the perfect picture… and the anxiety that creates.”

“When I think back to my teenage years, I didn’t care about my looks or my makeup. “I didn’t think about my image when I first posted covers on YouTube.”

As a teenager, Dua knew very well what she was thinking when she revealed she’d rather walk away than deal with it when a man told her she needed to lose weight early in her modeling career.

“I felt great the way I was, I had no reason to change,” she confessed.

“Of course I had insecurities. Times I questioned my looks. I know how destabilizing it can be to not feel good enough.”

But working in the modeling and nightclub industries didn’t bother the star, as he admitted she was “pretty strong,” although her parents were a little nervous.

“I was the mother of my group of friends. When we went out, I kept an eye out for the other girls. If there was any strange behavior, I would intervene. And when a man said to me, “Give us a smile, darling…” I would reply, “Don’t talk to me.” “You can’t tell me when to smile.”

Known for her daring outfits, Dua is not afraid to look sexy. Still, she admitted that the way she presents herself doesn’t shock her family and even her grandparents are open to it.

“They’re modern day grandparents.” They’ve evolved over time and I think they’re most proud of me. “Family is so precious.”

The star, who is now dating Rita Ora’s ex Romain Gavras, 42, is in no rush to have children as she admitted her only baby is her music: ‘The only baby I think about is mine new album.”

“I think women want to do things at their own pace and not feel guilty about thinking about themselves. When the moment is right, I will know. But until then I have other priorities. “I want to continue to make the most of my youth,” she added.
