A plane belonging to a French company hit a helicopter on the runway of an airfield in the Caribbean on Thursday.

The accident, which resulted in minor injuries, could have had serious consequences for the passengers on board the plane.
Shortly before noon, an Air Antilles Express aircraft landed on a helicopter parked on the apron.

After the collision, the plane’s wing was ripped off while the helicopter rolled over on its side, reports France-Antilles daily.
The investigation will determine the causes of this rather unusual collision.
