Trump made history by becoming the first former president to pose for a mugshot after being arrested for attempting to overturn the 2020 Georgia election results.
The 77-year-old was arrested for the fourth time this year and was fingerprinted by authorities at the Fulton County Jail. Unlike his previous three arrests, a booking photo was taken of him on Thursday.
With a scowl on his face, he stared at the camera to see the historical image.
Trump’s height and weight were recorded and as part of the booking process he was given a prisoner identification number: P01135809.
He was subsequently released on payment of 10 percent of his $200,000 bail after spending less than 20 minutes at the notorious facility.
The former president traveled to Georgia from his home in Bedminster, New Jersey, on Thursday afternoon.
Before his surrender, Trump described Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis as a “radical left, low-life district attorney.” His surrender came hours after Willis put Trump on trial in Georgia on Oct. 23 and his former chief of staff, Mark Meadows, surrendered to police.
