Larsa Pippen doesn’t think Michael Jordan would be there to see his son marry her, she revealed on a recent podcast.

Pippen, 49, is the ex-wife of Jordan’s former Chicago Bulls teammate Scottie. Since 2021 she has been with Jordan’s son Marcus, who at 32 is 17 years her junior.

There was widespread speculation that the couple might be engaged soon, which they addressed on the show Venues, Rings and Other Things this week.

Regarding the rumors, Pippen said, “I got 100 calls and texts — people were congratulating us and I was like, ‘I’m so excited.’ But no, we’re not engaged.”

She then spoke about whether the ultimate NBA legend, Michael, would be in it if there was ever a wedding if she was featured on a reality TV show.

“Do you think you would celebrate a wedding on a reality show? “I don’t think your parents would come,” she said to Marcus.

These days, Jordan is a private individual and out of the spotlight. He recently sold his stake in NBA team Charlotte Hornets for $3 billion and is worth an estimated $3.5 billion.

According to Bloomberg, the 60-year-old is the richest basketball player in NBA history.

While vacationing in France with his wife Yvette recently, he opened up about his son’s relationship with Larsa.

Paparazzi called him and asked if he was okay with his son’s new relationship. He shook his head and said no.

Larsa recently admitted things got awkward between Michael and his old teammate Scottie Pippen.

She said on the White Down podcast, “I’m not crazy.” The relationship is probably uncomfortable for her (Michael and Scottie).

“I’m not asking him [Scottie] about his personal belongings. He doesn’t ask me about my personal belongings. We talk about our kids and that’s it.

Scottie, meanwhile, hasn’t commented on the relationship himself, but seems to have an open mind when it comes to Jordan.

Pippen claimed in a recent interview that Jordan, widely considered the all-time greatest player in NBA history, was “a terrible player” before they became teammates.

“I watched Michael Jordan play before I came to the Bulls,” Pippen said. “You saw him play, he was a terrible player.”

“He was horrible to play with, he only played one-on-one, he shoots badly. “All of a sudden we became a team and we started winning, everyone forgot who they were.”

Shortly after these comments surfaced, Stephen A. Smith accused Pippen of betraying Jordan.
