Nicki Minaj fans are taking revenge on women with the same name as the person who allegedly punched the rapper
Nicki Minaj’s fans want revenge, but they’re taking their anger out on the wrong people.
It all started when the Call of Duty star took to Twitter on Aug. 23 to name the suspect who LA law enforcement investigators believe was behind multiple attempted beatings on the singer’s home.
“There is an arrest warrant out for Stephanie Bell,” the 40-year-old hitmaker announced to her 80 million followers.
“Great detective work.” So grateful. The prosecutor filed one count with the DCFS for the swatting call and one for the false report. “God be the glory,” she continued.
The BET Award winner appeared to be referring to the June incident, when Bell allegedly made a false report to child protection agencies, claiming that Nicki’s three-year-old son, whom she publicly calls Papa Bear, was abused.

After officers arrived, they visited the Good Form artist and her husband Kenneth Petty, 51.
An examination of the guy revealed he was safe and healthy.
The family was awakened early the next morning, around 3 a.m., after another sham call to 911 was made and a fire in the home was reported.
When firefighters arrived, they could not find any flames.
It quickly became apparent that the couple had been victims of “swatting”.
Nicki and her family were slammed again in late July after someone falsely reported a shooting at artist Tukoh Taka’s palatial mansion.
It’s currently uncertain if investigators believe Bell is connected.
After Nicki published the name, many women named Stephanie Bell came under the great anger of Nicki’s fans.

My only connection to Nicki is that I once went to a French Connection in Vegas and tried on a coat and the clerk told me Nicki wore it to court the day before.’
The woman concluded, “Of course I bought it then, I still have it, and now we call it The Nicki.”
