The superyacht Venus is one of the most expensive and luxurious boats in the world.
And on Friday, the $120 million ship owned by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs’ widow, Laurene Powell Jobs, docked in Cairns, Australia.
It’s unclear if Laurene, 59, was at the scene, but various employees were pictured loading Venus with supplies.
The superyacht looked a picture of perfection as she lay in the crystal clear green and blue waters of Queensland.
At 255 feet long, it dwarfed several smaller yachts that docked nearby.

When Jobs died, most of his wealth passed to his wife, making her one of the 50 richest people in the world.
Powell married Jobs in 1991 — ten years before the release of the first iPod — and now manages a fortune estimated at $12.3 billion, according to Forbes.
In addition to Venus, she owns two private jets, four major properties, and a large stake in The Walt Disney Company.
The Venus was Steve Jobs’ final masterpiece, having been commissioned in 2008 and meticulously collaborating on the design with superstar French product designer Philippe Starck.
He did not survive the ship’s completion and launch, dying of pancreatic cancer a year before work was completed in 2012.

In the final years of his life, Steve Jobs said to his biographer Walter Isaacson, “I know it’s possible that I’ll die and leave Laurene with a half-finished boat.” But I have to move on. If I don’t, it’s an admission that I’m going to die soon.”
According to his biographer Walter Isaacson, Starck helped design the sleek, 256-foot vessel, and Jobs hired the Apple Stores’ chief engineer to design reinforced glass for the walls.
Speaking of Venus in an interview with French Vanity Fair, Starck explained that the yacht houses six bedrooms as well as communication systems between the children’s quarters at the front and the adult quarters at the back.

“Steve wanted to make sure the teenagers could be accommodated in the front of the boat while he was in the back and vice versa. “He was obsessed with silence,” Starck said.
“Neither children made any noise in his house, nor the dog, nor his wife … nobody ever made any noise.”
