Conor McGregor reveals the date of his big comeback

Conor McGregor announced the date of his big return to the octagon on Sunday.

The Irishman shared a photo on X (formerly Twitter) suggesting he will face American Michael Chandler at UFC 296 in Las Vegas on December 16.

The count shows that there are 111 days left until this fight.

McGregor’s last appearance in the Octagon was dated July 10, 2021. The former champion subsequently suffered a KO defeat. Technique against the American Dustin Poirier.

Chandler also lost to Poirier in his last fight by submission on November 12, 2022.

McGregor and Chandler are the two trainers on the reality show The Ultimate Fighter 31.

McGregor faces sexual assault charges

Recall last June a woman claimed McGregor sexually abused her during game four of the NBA Finals in Miami.

In legal letters obtained by ESPN, she accused the Heat and NBA security team of separating her from her friend and forcing her into a men’s bathroom where McGregor I was waiting.

She described being “forcefully kissed” and McGregor then allegedly attempted to force her into multiple sexual acts.

She quickly contacted authorities and the Miami Police Department launched an investigation with its Special Victims Unit. McGregor disputed his accuser’s words about his attorney, Barbara Llanes. He was neither arrested nor charged.
