Fewer iPhone 15s will be produced in 2023 Top

According to some sources, Apple has planned to reduce its productioniPhone 15 (all versions together) at least in 2023…

  • Delivery : Certain components are not shipped in the quantities ordered by Apple, resulting in breakage.
    These include, for example, photo sensors (Sony), titanium frames and finally screens

  • Inquiry : The increase in price (100 to 200 € depending on the model) compared to the previous generation makes Apple fear that in this period of economic complications, customers will react less to the launch of a new, more expensive model.

This (assumption) therefore leads to a decrease in the production forecast from 83 million units to less than 77 million in the fourth quarter of 2023.

And more generally, it seems that the brand is no longer selling 227 million iPhone 15 (all versions), but 217 million (new arrival).

A figure that’s still very high despite everything… but consider that 10 million fewer iPhones sold means a significant loss of sales for the California giant.
