Donald Trump hilariously poked fun after claiming he won his club’s senior championship with a below-average 67: “The only way you can get a 67 is by scoring on your front nine.”
- In one post, Trump said, “For some reason I’m just a good golfer/athlete.”
- Social media has refuted the former president’s claims of this very low figure

Donald Trump’s truthfulness of numbers has always been flexible at best. Much like his claim to weigh 215 pounds, his claim to have won club golf championships seems equally dubious.
But that hasn’t stopped the former president from securing another title – claiming on Truth Social he’s won the senior club championship at his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey.
“For those who are interested, I am pleased to report that I have just won the Senior Club Championship (must be over 50!) at Bedminster (Trump National Golf Club) by playing a round of 67 shot,” Trump wrote.
To deter any doubters, Trump assured his supporters that there were no “handkerchiefs.”
“Lots of people are watching, plus I’m surrounded by Secret Service agents.” There’s not much you can do even if you want to, and neither do I. “For some reason I’m just a good golfer/sportsman – I’ve won many club championships and it’s always a great honor!”
Donald Trump has claimed he won his club’s senior championship at Bedminster
The former president called it a “great honor” and claimed to have fired a round 67
He also released the private cell phone number of his club’s head golf pro, in case anyone disputed the allegation
It has been less than two months since Trump was caught on camera receiving an absolutely horrific blow to the lower leg at one of his own classes – leading many to question the seriousness of the ex-president’s allegation deliver.
It also doesn’t help that earlier this month a tour of professional golfers came across the same golf course where Trump played. From a full field of LIV golfers, only six rounds were rated 67 or less. Two of those rounds belonged to winner Cam Smith.
Trump also competed in the Pro-Am at the LIV Golf Bedminster event – but only played a few holes.
To back up his claim, Trump released the home phone number of the course instructor at Trump National — essentially doxing his own employee, which resulted in people flooding his cellphone with calls.
Social media was quick to question claims he had shot – and many vilified the former president.
Actor Billy Baldwin wrote on Twitter, “Trump hasn’t won anything in decades without cheating.” Not golf, his marriages, his businesses, his taxes, his charities…or his elections. He scored a 67 just like he weighs 215.”
“Donald Trump swings a golf club like he learned the game from Ralph Cramden (sic), a 1950’s sitcom character.” I assure you, Trump has never come close to breaking par in his life,” one Twitter user wrote.
Another wrote, “Trump has one of the most disgusting golf shots I’ve ever seen.” It’s heavily overdone, from the outside in, resulting in a massive slice. The only way to get a 67 is by scoring on his front nine.’
At the LIV tournament on the same course a few weeks ago, only four rounds of 67 or better were played – two of those rounds belonged to tournament winner Cameron Smith
On social media, the former president has been criticized and debated over his claim that he shot a ’67
Another joked, “I just won the Senior Club Championship at Bedminster (Trump National Golf Club) by shooting a round of 67.” Trump is modest and doesn’t mention the 4:23 miles he ran after that followed of his ripped 6″3″ 215 pound body doing 3 sets of 8 x 500 squats.”
Trump and 18 of his associates were recently charged with extortion in the state of Georgia for having access to voting machines with election officials.
The President has continued to campaign with his false claim that the 2020 election was rigged and that he was the real winner.
His repeated insistence immediately after the election led a group of his supporters to storm the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021 to prevent confirmation of votes in the presidential election.
