Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Mr. Robitaille came to Quebec six years ago.

However, as a user of public transport, the Conservative candidate opposes the City of Quebec’s streetcar project. In the PCQ press release, Jesse Robitaille claims to have been the victim of two bicycle accidents on the Calgary streetcar.

Like his party, the candidate supports the third motorway connection between Quebec and Lévis. Keep in mind that the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) abandoned this project and is now proposing a third connection reserved for public transport.

According to the survey aggregator Qc125, a duel between the CAQ and the Parti Québécois (PQ) is emerging in the race for Jean-Talon. The PCQ is in fifth place.

In the last election in 2022, conservative candidate Sébastien Clavet received 10% of the vote in Jean-Talon.

The other political parties have already announced their candidates for this sub-party.
