New stadium under construction to witness Messi’s exploits

Lionel Messi fans looking to travel to Florida to see him in action at Inter Miami CF will be able to benefit from brand new infrastructure in 2025 as construction started earlier this month.

The organization concerned said Monday that construction of the future Freedom Park is underway and that the groundbreaking ceremony will be held later in the year. The stadium will seat 25,000 football matches and will be part of an entertainment complex where a public park will be built.

“With Inter Miami, my family laid the foundation to build something big. In just four years, we changed the perception of American football. As we begin construction of Freedom Park, we are driven by a similar vision,” concessionaire Jorge Mas said in a statement.

Despite being penultimate in Major League Soccer’s Eastern Association, the team have had a fulfilling life, particularly since Messi’s arrival in July. Thanks to the Argentine, whose contract ends in 2025, she won the League Cup and also secured participation in the American championship, the US Open Cup.
