The Galaxy Z Fold 5 has just been released alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 5, but Samsung is already looking ahead to the next model in its foldable lineup. THE Galaxy Z Fold 6 is not expected before August 2024. However, a prototype of the foldable device has already leaked online.

If we take a closer look at the images, we see that Samsung has finally changed the design of its foldable smartphone that opens like a book. The aspect ratio is no longer the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 5, for example. The Z Fold 6 is more like a Pixel Fold because it is wider and lower than usual.

The images also show ultra-thin edges that would be found on both Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 6. “Maybe the edges of the screen will be a little narrower” for the foldable smartphone, the leaker adds. With the Galaxy Z Fold 6 we can apparently look forward to a revised hinge that leaves no space when the smartphone is folded.
