According to the hospital, he was extubated on Tuesday morning (29) and began breathing without aid.
The presenter underwent a heart transplant on Sunday (27) and remains in intensive care.
“After a heart transplant last Sunday (27.08.) in the Israelita Albert Einstein Hospital, Fausto Silva was extubated this morning and is breathing unaided. The patient is conscious, speaks normally, and has good cardiac function. He stays healthy. in intensive care,” the statement said.
