Hollywood legend Susan Sarandon of Thelma and Louise fame will star alongside popular Australian favorite Bryan Brown in Stan’s new original series C*A*U*G*H*T.

The hilarious new satirical comedy centers on a major diplomatic dispute between Australia and the US and will premiere on Stan on September 28th.

Produced by and directed by Oscar winner Sean Penn and Australian actor Kick Gurry, the plot involves a hostage video that goes viral.

The story begins when a small group of Australian soldiers are captured after embarking on a mission to the small, war-torn country of Behati-Prinsloo, a fictional island nation.

Unfortunately, the four soldiers are mistaken for Americans by local freedom fighters and held captive.

But then the Australian hostages become global internet stars when their kidnapping video goes viral. And they realize that imprisonment is a gateway to fame.

In a new preview, Bryan Brown stars as Australian Prime Minister, while Susan Sarandon plays US Secretary of State Alaska Adams.

The pair get into a ridiculous verbal argument as each tries to outsmart the other as they argue over how best to contain the embarrassing kidnapping video.

After Sarandon’s Ice Queen official “officially” informs the Prime Minister of the supposedly “secret” incident, Brown’s stupid Prime Minister tells her, “That’s damn nice of you.”
