New attacks with Ukrainian naval drones lead to traffic closures on the Crimean bridge

After three hours, blood circulation is restored

MADRID, September 2 (EUROPA PRESS) –

Ukrainian forces launched an unsuccessful attack on the Crimean bridge with an unmanned boat, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, which assured that the vehicle was “destroyed at the right time.”

“On September 1 at around 11:15 p.m. Moscow time, the Kiev regime attempted to carry out a terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge using an unmanned semi-submersible,” he said in a message posted on his Telegram channel.

“The Ukrainian naval drone was discovered in time in the Black Sea and destroyed,” the text continues.

The interruption of car traffic on the Crimean Bridge was reported at around 12:03 a.m. (local time), which resumed about three hours later, at around 3:25 a.m. (local time), as the Russian news agency Interfax reported. The last time traffic was blocked on the Crimean Bridge was on August 29, when traffic was blocked for 15 minutes.

During this time, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the “defeat” of another Ukrainian unmanned vessel near the Crimean Bridge.

“On September 2, at approximately 02:20 Moscow time, Ukraine’s third unmanned semi-submersible, sent by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, was destroyed in the Black Sea,” another statement said Ministry also published on Telegram.

The bridge that connects the Russian mainland with Crimea is important for supplying the peninsula and Russian troops in southern Ukraine and has therefore been repeatedly attacked.

Satellite images show that Russia has protected part of the bridge with a barrier of sunken ships. According to observers, this is a protection against possible Ukrainian attacks with naval drones.
