According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, massive Ukrainian drone strikes will not go unpunished
The massive attacks by Ukrainian drones in the early hours of Wednesday will not go unpunished, warned Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman María Zajárova, who described the action as “terrorist.” Zakharova denounced that the Ukrainian drones, some of which attacked a military air base in the Pskov region in northwestern Russia, almost 700 kilometers from Ukraine, did not overcome this distance without data from Western satellites. According to authorities, at least four Il-76 military transport aircraft were damaged and caught fire as a result of the attack. In addition to the Pskov airfield, which is located dozens of kilometers from NATO member states Estonia and Latvia, the presence of drones, all of which were shot down, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, has also been documented in other Russian regions such as Bryansk, Oryol, Kaluga, Ryazan, Ruza and the Moscow region.
