Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger (70) was threatened by his ex-lover. In a court filing, she revealed juicy details of the married champagne baron’s secret sex life.
Paris. The affair with his accountant was almost fatal for champagne baron Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger The former boss and honorary president of the Taittinger champagne house was threatened by his ex-lover. Samira L. (48) has now been sentenced to one year of probation in a trial.
After three years of affair, Taittinger separated from her in 2014. The ex-lover then bombarded him with text messages and threatened to castrate and kill him. She even took the train from Paris to the Taittinger family estate in Reims and chased the champagne baron with a knife in her hand – Taittinger escaped. She then texted him again: “If I had worn sneakers I would have caught you and killed you.”
Samira L. also harasses Taittinger’s wife Claire (76) and daughter Vitalie (44). After three years of threats, Pierre-Emanuel Taittinger went to the police in 2017 and reported the incidents, which have now been the subject of a judicial hearing, as “Bild” reports.
Samira L.: “Feeling abused and manipulated”
Taittinger’s former lover painted a different picture of the situation in court: When Taittinger ended the relationship, she felt abused and manipulated. “He chose my clothes and my makeup.” They regularly went to sex clubs in Paris together. “He chose the men I would have sex with,” said Samira L. She was also raped in clubs, Samira L. said in court. Police interviewed club officials but they said they had not received any complaints from Samir and described the former couple as “loving and generous customers”.
The court did not believe Samira L. “None of her allegations led to a lawsuit,” Taittinger’s lawyer Nicolas Hubsch told “Bild” after the end of the trial. Your client did not exert toxic control, but rather fell in love with his lover.
