A founding member of the Creole Company loses his life

A founding member of the Creole Company, José Séboulé, died Sunday morning at the age of 74.

The Creole Company and Productions Martin Leclerc announced this in a press release.

“Jose died peacefully [dimanche matin] in France with his loved ones,” they said.

After José Séboulé began making music in his native Guyana in the 1970s, he was one of the founding members of the Creole Company in France.
The group’s numerous hits such as “La Machine à danse”, “It makes birds laugh” and “C’est bon pour le morale” will have captivated many music lovers.

His last international tour was in Quebec last March.
