Three people were hospitalized after a pileup this Sunday morning that also involved an 18-wheeler on Highway I-95 in Miami-Dade County.
A man and a woman were transported to Ryder Trauma in serious condition, while the third victim, a woman, was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition, local media reported.
A man who went to work around 6 a.m. rescued the victims and called emergency services.
“When I looked to the right, I noticed the folded semi-trailer truck, I could see this vehicle and saw that there were no fire departments or police on site. So I immediately rendered aid until the firefighters arrived,” Tony Navarro told 7 News Miami.
Further details of the incident have not yet been revealed.

A black Tesla sedan lost control and struck a concrete barrier while traveling southbound on I-95 in the area of Northwest 62nd Street.
After the initial incident, a series of minor accidents occurred between a Chevy SUV, a Nissan sedan, a white Jeep SUV, a tow truck and a gray Jeep SUV.
