Gospel music phenomenon, singer Regis Danese, terrified fans this week. Last Wednesday (30) he was on his way to a presentation in Goiás when the car he was driving collided with a truck. The singer was hospitalized, underwent surgery and spent 40 hours in intensive care. Three days later, he surprised everyone with a relieved smile. The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on a section of the BR153 in Jaraguá, in the central Goiás region. Daniel says they talked. “I looked at the GPS. My phone fell down. When I picked up the cell phone, I said: There’s a knock coming. And I just lowered my head, Régis was already playing my way. “I braked and my brother’s cell phone fell to the ground. (…) Do you know this distraction? I think I turned around like that at that moment… And when I was in the corner I thought there was nothing in front of me, at that moment I, I don’t know, didn’t see anything, I just saw that Effects. The singer performs 15 to 20 performances per month and his intense show routine could help explain the accident.

“I was tired. I didn’t sleep that morning. I went to bed at 1:30 a.m. and got up at 3:30 a.m.,” he reveals.
