The dream of life Burning man, one of the largest music and arts festivals in the United States, became a nightmare for more than 70,000 people last week. The party, which takes place in the middle of the Nevada desert, had to be closed due to weather conditions. Heavy rain turned the place into a swamp and everyone was stranded..
Since most of the audience traveled to the party location in RVs, the vehicles got stuck. Even those who travel by car have difficulty leaving the desert.
It was the artists who had to “challenge” the desert to leave the place. Many had business obligations in the United States. The famous DJ and producer Diplo posted a video on social media saying he ran nearly six miles before hitting the ride with a fan.
“A fan offered Chris Rock and I a ride out of Burning Man in the back of a pickup truck. “After a 6 mile walk through the mud,” the artist said.

The one who took the same path was the Brazilian Vintage cultureMusic project by Luke Ruiz. He reported on his social networks that he walked more than two kilometers and rode in the back of a pickup truck.

In the publication, he wrote that he traveled to Reno, one of the largest cities in the state of Nevada, and from there flew to Chicago to perform at the ARC festival.
Since last Sunday night (3) the ground has been so dry that vehicles can drive without getting stuck. It is expected that there will be a mass departure from the festival site this Monday (4).
Organizers also confirmed the death of a man attending the event, which was recorded last Friday (1). According to the local medical team, bad weather was not the cause of death.
