As a sign that the school year has actually begun, new faces appear on your television in the morning. This is particularly true for Philippe-Vincent Foisy for the show’s news segments. He will now be the man responsible for bringing you the most important news of the day with accuracy and professionalism as only he can.
Everything you need to know about the new newsreader Hello Hello :
1. He has been a journalist for 10 years.
Philippe-Vincent Foisy has been working in the media for a decade. We read it in the newspaper before we hear it on the radio, sometimes at Cogeco, sometimes at
QUB radio, and to see him cover politics from Ottawa and Quebec. A graduate of UQAM in journalism and the University of Geneva in international relations, he has an impressive track record and undeniable talent as a communicator. These numerous jobs caused him to move several times between Montreal, Gatineau and the state capital (and inevitably clean up his fortune).
2. He is the father of a 3-year-old girl.
Salut Bonjour’s new news anchor is the father of a three-year-old little girl. His partner also has a 19-year-old daughter, so they make a wonderful blended family. He admits to being a kind of “daddy” to his little daughter in some situations. However, the main victim admits that he wants to let her stand on her own two feet as much as possible so that she can shape her personality.

3. He was born and raised in Montreal.
Philippe-Vincent was born in Montreal and grew up on the West Island. However, the latter spent a lot of time in the countryside, more specifically in Saint-Pie in Montérégie, where his grandparents lived. It is undoubtedly here that he developed his love for nature and the countryside. Although he spends most of his time in Montreal lately, he really appreciates family stays in Estrie, where his parents live.
4. He is an avid hunter and fisherman.
Unusual for a man who grew up in the city, right? Philippe-Vincent is a real lover of hunting and fishing! He really enjoys being in the forest and going on hunting trips. The person giving you the news also loves fishing and is always ready to catch fish on the water. He also hosted the Podcast Hunting and fishing stories. There he met hunters, fishermen and fishermen to hear their sometimes incredible, sometimes touching adventures. He’ll definitely have some good hunter and/or fisherman stories to share with us on air in the coming months.

4. He loves coffee.
While he was already used to getting up at the crack of dawn for his show on Radio QUB, Philippe-Vincent risks enjoying coffee more than ever for his new role at Salut Bonjour. It’s timely because the guy who’s on air every weekday morning from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. admits to loving espresso. Advice to new colleagues working with him: Offer him a coffee to start the day well. Impossible to please him more!
5. He cooks at home.
Our new employee is also an excellent chef. In fact, he is the one who cooks meals at home most of the time. When asked what his culinary specialty is, he immediately replies that he is an expert in preparing “good, simple food.” All while a baby cries, understands what’s happening on the news, and listens to his world at home. We take our hats off to him.
6. He has to move.
His passions and hobbies include running, nature and hiking. Philippe-Vincent likes to move and needs physical activity in his life to feel good. Through sport he manages to channel his energy and find a little balance in his life as a busy young professional. No matter what time of year, the newscaster is always ready for a new sporting adventure.

7. He likes to travel a lot.
Even if he doesn’t necessarily have a favorite destination, our new addition loves to travel. After his studies, he visited India and Southeast Asia, among other places. The pandemic and the arrival of his daughter in his life have put travel plans on hold somewhat, but he plans to make up for lost time in the coming years. He wants to visit his aunt who lives in Europe.
8. He is the author of a book.
The current affairs and politics enthusiast is also co-author of the book
The shale gas scandal. In 2011, journalists Philippe-Vincent Foisy and Julien McEvoy provided a fundamental investigation into the shale gas issue, highlighting the environmental, political and ethical issues that are rightly causing popular discontent. Our news reader realizes very early on that agriculture and natural resources are fundamental to life and that their judicious management is essential to the survival of a society. He began this project with every intention of finding out the truth.
9. He is a nature lover.
Not only does our new employee love being in the forest, but he also recently started collecting wild mushrooms. A fascinating practice! These moments in the forest and in the fresh air do him the most good. Luckily, he passes this love of nature on to his offspring!

10. He comes to work on his bike in the morning.
Because he enjoys exercise and being active, he rides his bike to work at TVA on summer mornings. So don’t be surprised if you find him on his two wheels in the middle of the night preparing his first ever newsletter.
