The multimillionaire couple made headlines in 2012 after their attempts to launch an equestrian acrobatics show called Valitar were suddenly halted, losing millions of dollars and a slew of jobs.
The disaster caused Mark Remley to declare bankruptcy in 2012, but the setback didn’t stop them from making money. According to court documents, Tatyana said they spent up to $30,000 in a single evening.
She also claims that after the alleged rape, her husband and his friends stole more than $250,000 worth of purses, clothing, cars and pets from her property and she went into “hiding.”

Martonovich provided intimate details about the couple’s difficult relationship this week following the dramatic arrest.
He became associated with the feuding pair after they turned to him to produce their ultimately disastrous, multi-million dollar “horse-human acrobatic show” called Valitar in 2012.
He had distanced himself from the project when it failed spectacularly with just three of a planned 45 performances at the prestigious Del Mar Fairgrounds – leaving a trail of angry creditors in its wake.
But the experience gave him a unique insight into the couple’s relationship and personality.
“Mark is very awkward in social situations. “He’s just not good at talking to people,” said Martonovich, who now runs the equestrian event Gladius The Show — known as “Cirque du Soleil meets Mad Max on horses.”
“Pretty much the only thing that defines his personality is that he has money – so he used that to get people to talk to him.”
“Plus, he’s really bad at communicating with women.” At least the ones he finds attractive. He always had this shaky, strange look.
“Tatyana is fake nice.” She was nice to you, but if you don’t do exactly what I want, then fuck you.
“I heard her allegations that Mark held a gun to her head. I don’t believe it for a second because I never saw him even say no to her, let alone fight back in any way.’
Tatjana faces numerous charges, including suspicion of murder, carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle and carrying a loaded firearm in a public place. She is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on November 16.
