Australian cricket legend Glenn McGrath grabs snake with bare hands and removes it from his home after finding THREE on his property: ‘Steve Irwin couldn’t have done better’
Australian cricket legend Glenn McGrath bravely battled three snakes with his bare hands after finding carpet pythons on his rural Queensland property on Wednesday.
The former Test cricketer, 53, shared photos and footage of himself catching the snakes at various locations around his house.
One python was in his pantry, one was in the living room, and another was making its way down the hall.
Glenn was seen bravely removing one from his property by grabbing it by its tail, carefully wrapping it around a mop and then taking it outside.
His worried wife Sara screamed: “You’re going to get bitten,” but a brave Glenn assured her he had the situation under control.

“After much encouragement and support from my wife, all three coastal carpet pythons that were in the house were safely released back into the bush,” he wrote alongside the video.
Fortunately, Glenn was in no real danger as the carpet python is a non-venomous snake.
Many of Glenn’s fans were quick to rave about how brave he was in removing the snakes from his property.

“Expands legend status,” a second person added.
“That’s better than the 50 points he scored against New Zealand,” a third person chimed in.
